Your team
The Pictet Tech division is responsible for the design and integration of a wide variety of IT solutions, ranging from portfolio management systems to trading platforms, as well as banking applications and business management tools. Originating some of the Group's greatest innovations, the division is also responsible for the operational smooth running and development of custodian banking and fund administration services.
Within the Infrastructure & Production department, the Production Monitoring & Control (PMC) team is tasked with continuously monitoring all IT resources and their operational management, in compliance with the required service levels.
The evolution of visions and practices in IT Production is at the heart of our concerns and is taken into account in all our interventions. As an IT Operations Shift Leader, you will be part of a team that plays a key role in ensuring the proper functioning of infrastructures, monitoring, and the availability of the information system (IS), while bringing an innovative vision based on new technologies.
Your role
- Ensure production by guaranteeing the level and service commitments, monitoring alerts, unblocking, following the production plan, and opening incidents;
- Analyse messages received at the control unit and perform all routine operations necessary for the start-up and proper functioning of IT infrastructures, according to defined procedures;
- Propose and implement methodological and technical solutions to optimise IT production;
- Feed the incident database and maintain control documentation;
- Provide appropriate service support for the applications under our responsibility, collaborating effectively with the various concerned teams;
- Identify improvement opportunities related to new technologies to adapt the tools/processes used;
- Maintain general production conditions and follow our plan on a 3x8 shift schedule, 7 days a week.
Your profile
- Federal VET Diploma or ES technician diploma in IT, or an equivalent qualification;
- Experience in control activities (an advantage);
- Knowledge of Windows, Unix and Linux environments, Control-M, Kibana, Jira and Grafana (an advantage);
- Very good analytical and communication skills;
- Fluency in spoken and written French; good knowledge of English;
- Residence in Switzerland required.
