Senior MES Solutions Engineer, 100% (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Close collaboration with the MES team (1.5 developers + 1 process specialist) and active participation in the development of technical concepts and solutions
• Translation of the operations roadmap into clear MES development deliverables and ensuring structured implementation
• Coordination of MES 2nd level support as well as professional management of escalations to 3rd level
• Central interface to SAP, infrastructure, equipment integration, and external partners
• Hands-on work (approx. 30%) with low-code solutions as well as programming languages such as C# and JavaScript
• Application of Scrum principles in development processes
• Ensuring clear documentation in Confluence and Jira
• Regular collaboration with our locations in Hungary (approx. 3 days on site every 2 months)

Your profile

• Experience in managing technical projects in an industrial or production-related environment
• Completed studies in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification
• Technical expertise in:
• Low-code platforms (e.g., Logic Apps, Power Automate, IFTTT)
• C# or JavaScript
• Software development lifecycle
• Experience with Scrum
• Strong communication skills and confident handling of Confluence and Jira
• Languages: fluent English, German required; Hungarian is an advantage

Nice to have

• Knowledge in software architecture or SAP (MM, PP, EWM)
• Understanding of industrial interfaces and protocols (REST, OPC UA)
• Experience with Siemens hardware retrofits or shopfloor processes
• Hands-on mentality
