For our location in Bern (Bolligenstrasse 93), we are looking for a

Logistics Specialist, Deputy Team Leader (100%)

Brief summary of the function and department.

Responsibilities

• Together with the team and team leadership, you ensure smooth, efficient, and safe logistics – from goods receipt through storage in the automated high-bay warehouse and delivery to the production departments to export delivery, always according to GMP regulations.
• You take responsibility for the operational management of daily business on site, support the team leader in managing the area, and ensure process discipline, quality compliance, and adherence to applicable occupational safety regulations.
• You coordinate, in cooperation with the team leader, the interfaces between goods receipt, warehouse, production, goods issue, and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear and comprehensible communication.
• You perform logistical activities in a regulated pharmaceutical environment, working according to applicable GMP guidelines and with strict attention to product and occupational safety requirements.
• You record key figures for KPI reporting, participate in the continuous improvement process, and further develop concepts to optimize intralogistics.
• You work on cross-departmental projects and take on tasks in planning, coordination, or implementation of project content.
   

Qualifications

• Completed training as a logistics specialist EFZ and solid further education (e.g., logistics specialist / business economist).
• Several years of experience in logistics, ideally in a regulated environment (pharma/food). Initial exposure to GxP is a plus.
• Confident handling of ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) as well as warehouse management systems (e.g., LaSoft).
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English skills at level A2–B1.
• Very precise, extremely reliable, and highly quality-conscious work.
• A true leader personality: You enjoy operational leadership, pitch in, and share the vision to continuously optimize our in-house logistics.
• Willingness to work flexibly within operational working hours and openness to cross-site support within Site Logistics if required.
• Possession of the SUVA forklift license.
