Co Chin Chin stands for modern Vietnamese cuisine, warm hospitality, and a lively atmosphere in the heart of Zurich. As part of the Saigon Group, we combine authentic Vietnamese cuisine with a contemporary gastronomy concept.

To strengthen our team at Co Chin Chin, we are looking for a committed individual as Deputy Managing Director (100%).

Your Tasks

As deputy management, you are jointly responsible with the management for smooth restaurant operations and a great guest experience. You take responsibility in day-to-day business and represent the management in their absence.

• You lead and motivate our team in daily operations
• You coordinate processes and ensure smooth service
• You are a passionate host and ensure our guests feel completely comfortable
• You assist with scheduling and holiday planning
• You train new employees and support with training sessions
• You assist with orders, stock control, and inventories
• You take responsibility for daily closings and administrative tasks
• In the absence of management, you take over the operational leadership of the restaurant

Your Profile

You enjoy hosting, pitch in yourself, and keep an overview even when the restaurant is really busy.

• You have experience in gastronomy, ideally already in a leadership or shift management role
• You enjoy leading, motivating, and developing a team
• You work independently, organised, and responsibly
• Quality, hospitality, and professional service are important to you
• You are resilient and find pragmatic solutions even in hectic situations
• Knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and culture is an advantage but not a must
• Hotel management school, innkeeper’s licence, or a comparable qualification are advantageous
• You speak fluent German and can communicate well in English; additional languages are welcome
