About the job
We – the company Karl Meyer-Spinnler – represent an owner-managed family business based in Muttenz. The knowledge, experience and competence of our employees are our most important resource in the production of sand and gravel, ready-mixed concrete, the manufacture of recycled building materials as well as green roofing. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a full-time position as soon as possible:
Dispatcher (m/f/d) Building Materials
Tasks
- Scheduling our skip and tipper fleet as well as reliably supplying our customers with materials
- Advising our customers on questions about our products and services
- Proactively following up on logistics problems
- Checking transport reports and communicating requirements to the driving staff in coordination with the fleet manager
- Acting as an interface between production, invoicing and sales
- Planning and coordinating the economical deployment of drivers regarding working, holiday and compensation times in cooperation with the fleet manager
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial, technical or logistical training
- Professional experience ideally in the dispatching of building materials
- Personality with organisational skills, confident appearance and experience in logistics
- Enjoyment of customer contact and adept at presenting the services of our company
- Precise working method in the merchandise management system and willingness to familiarise oneself with a new system
- Assertiveness and experience to lead the driving staff according to requirements
