About the job
As a complement to our management team at tibits Basel Steinen, we are looking for an experienced Sous Chef (without room hour/part-time) to start immediately or by arrangement. You enjoy managing several hotspots simultaneously and love direct contact with the team and our guests at the buffet. You are a person who gladly passes on your expertise as a certified chef, values close communication with management, and works together with them towards a common goal. If you also remember during your daily work that a healthy dose of humour and joie de vivre are important ingredients, then you are the right addition to our team. In the first few months, you will be introduced to our basics, products, and processes and will go through all employee levels up to Sous Chef.Your Buffet:
- Personnel and professional leadership of approximately 10 production employees together with the head chef
- Active participation in the kitchen
- Deputising for the head chef during absences
- Recruitment
- Creating work schedules
- Co-designing, consolidating, and implementing workflows and processes
- Co-responsibility for the entire production process and inventory management
- Implementation of the specified production basics and co-responsibility for occupational safety in production
- Compliance with goods and personnel cost targets as well as creditor control
- Implementation of hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
- Responsibility for and conducting the monthly inventory
