To strengthen our team in the Industry Services area in the field of dangerous goods, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start date for a
Your tasks
- Inspection and acceptance of storage tank systems domestically and abroad to ensure they comply with applicable safety and environmental requirements
- Conformity assessments of environmental safety devices based on plans, wiring diagrams and functional descriptions according to KVU guidelines, relevant regulations and standards
- Conducting periodic inspections of dangerous goods containments according to ADR/RID such as tank trucks, tank containers, IBCs etc. to ensure safe operation
- Supporting manufacturers and cantonal environmental offices in implementing regulatory requirements
- Conducting audits and technical inspections in the area of tank systems and dangerous goods containments
Your profile
- Completed technical training
- Further training as a technician HF in process engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification is an advantage
- Several years of professional experience in a technical environment (at least five years)
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes in the field of metals and plastics
- Knowledge or certificates in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT) are an advantage
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
- Good user skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS365), SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Willingness to undertake field assignments
