Many can explain cars. Really advising a customer well? That’s a different story.

For a garage business in Canton Aargau, we are looking for a Service Advisor who brings technical knowledge, enjoys working with people, and keeps an overview even when the phone rings, the workshop has a question, and the next customer is standing in front of you all at once.

This is not about simply taking keys and passing on orders.

You are the link between customer and workshop.

Your daily routine

• You welcome and assist customers personally, by phone and digitally.
• You receive vehicles and create service and repair orders.
• You coordinate appointments and ensure that all parties know what is going on.
• You explain technical work, repairs and costs in a way that can be understood without workshop jargon.
• You keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicles.
• You recognise additional service needs and address them professionally and tactfully.
• You coordinate between customer, workshop and internal departments.
• Digital processes and modern AI tools are a natural part of your working day.

What you should bring

Automotive in your blood: You have training as an automotive specialist EFZ, automotive mechatronics technician EFZ or a comparable automotive qualification and already have experience in customer service. Ideally, you are familiar with VW and Audi models.

High voltage is not a foreign word to you: You have experience with electric vehicles and possess a solid understanding of high-voltage technology.

You can work with people: You listen, ask questions and find the right words – even when a customer is not quite relaxed in front of you.

You stay calm when things get hectic: Phone, customer, workshop and five open tasks at the same time? You keep an overview and continue working in a solution-oriented manner.

Digitally savvy: You have no qualms about digital processes, virtual customer communication and new AI applications.

English: Ideally, you can also communicate confidently in English.

Driving licence: Category B is available.
