The Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Arosa is a 5-star superior luxury hotel located at 1,800m altitude in the Grisons mountains. As one of the four houses of "The Tschuggen Collection", our hotel offers 128 individually designed rooms, suites and mountain lofts, as well as four stylish restaurants – including the gourmet highlight La Brezza with 19 Gault&Millau points & two Michelin stars – and an impressive 5,000 m² spa mountain oasis, designed by Mario Botta.

After more than 4 years, our current post holder is leaving us to take on a new challenge. Therefore, we are looking for someone to start on 1 October 2026 or by arrangement (at the latest mid-November) in a permanent employment contract.
🎯 YOUR PROFILE
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable leadership position, ideally in seasonal and luxury hospitality
- Professional experience in a 5-star or 5-star superior hotel; knowledge of LQA standards or comparable international quality standards is an advantage
- Very good German and fluent English skills, both spoken and written; additional foreign languages are welcome
- Strong leadership and social skills as well as the ability to motivate, support and develop employees
- High service orientation, discretion and a confident, professional appearance
- Organised, structured and solution-oriented personality with the ability to keep an overview even in demanding situations
- Responsible, reliable and flexible working style with a pronounced hands-on mentality
- High quality awareness as well as a keen eye for detail and perfection
- Empathetic, communicative and team-oriented personality with excellent manners
- Well-groomed appearance as well as a stylish and representative demeanour in line with upscale hospitality
📄 YOUR TASKS
- Professional and operational management of a housekeeping team with up to 40 employees during the summer and winter seasons
- Overall responsibility for the cleanliness, care and preservation of guest rooms, suites, public areas, sanitary facilities, laundry and staff accommodation
- Creation of an efficient and needs-based duty and deployment plan taking into account occupancy, budget and quality requirements
- Ensuring and continuously developing the hotel's quality standards as well as the LQA and Leading Hotels of the World standards
- Responsibility for inventory and material management including purchasing, ordering, goods receipt control and economical use of cleaning agents, laundry, guest supplies and operating materials
- Professional onboarding as well as continuous training, coaching and promotion of employees
- Conducting regular quality checks as well as initiating and following up on optimisation measures
- Close cooperation with the Front Office, Technical, Laundry and F&B departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
- Responsibility for all administrative tasks in housekeeping, including inventories, key figures, monthly closings, budget control and reporting
- Active participation in shaping and optimising processes as well as ensuring efficient workflows
