Who are we?
The State Finance Administration (AFin) supports the State Council and the State administrative units with the mission to ensure effective, efficient and sustainable budgetary and accounting management. While most of its efforts are focused "inwardly", its actions are also guided by the constant concern to defend the interests of the Fribourg taxpayer. The position will be attached to the Cantonal Financial Service, which is responsible for managing receipts related to invoices issued by the various State services (excluding tax claims). It also handles the related litigation.

Your tasks
We are looking, for a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2028, for an accounting clerk at the Cantonal Financial Service, with the main tasks as follows:

Administer, analyse and make necessary decisions in litigation files

Enter customer accounting entries
- Independently manage the service's postal account
- Provide various information, advice and guidance internally and externally
- Manage requests received by email and telephone
- Ensure presence at the service counter
Desired profile
- Holder of a commercial apprenticeship certificate (CFC)
- Experience in accounting
- Proficiency in MS Office computer tools
- Knowledge in the field of debt collection
- Knowledge of the SAP software as well as a debt collection tool (such as Collecta solution) would be an asset
- Fluency in French with good knowledge of German
