For our client, an innovative Swiss company and leading provider of customised assemblies and individual solutions in the Solothurn area, we are looking for a committed and technically skilled individual as Specialist in Production Planning 100%

Your tasks

• Recording, checking, scheduling and monitoring production orders in the ERP system
• Planning and coordinating manufacturing processes, capacities, priorities and delivery dates
• Creating and maintaining work plans, manufacturing documents, standard times and production-relevant master data
• Ensuring material availability and a smooth handover of orders to production
• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks, schedule deviations and production disruptions as well as initiating appropriate measures
• Participating in process optimisations, production projects, automation as well as in the maintenance and further development of operating equipment

Your profile

• Completed basic training as a polymechanic with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) is mandatory, ideally with further training as a process specialist or technician HF/TS
• Several years of experience in the metalworking industry, preferably in CNC manufacturing, machining or grinding technology
• Professional experience in production planning and control as well as a good understanding of manufacturing processes, capacities, schedules and costs
• Very good IT user skills and confident handling of ERP systems as well as MS Office
• Technical understanding, strong problem-solving skills and interest in modern manufacturing technologies, automation and lean production
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented personality with high initiative, a can-do attitude and enjoyment in collaborating with various departments
