Automation Engineer - Operations Engineering (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
As an automation engineer, you will be responsible for the entire process control technology of existing and new process plants for the market and IMP production of pharmaceutical active ingredients. The process plants to be supported have a high degree of automation and are networked with each other and with higher-level IT systems.
The ideal candidate holds a completed FH/TU degree in electrical engineering or automation and has at least five years of solid professional experience in the automation of process engineering plants in a GMP environment. The person possesses in-depth knowledge of hardware planning using CAE systems such as COMOS or AutoCAD as well as proven experience as a project or sub-project manager in CAPEX projects. In addition to professional expertise, the person is characterised by strong teamwork skills, excellent communication and coordination abilities for dealing with stakeholders at all levels, and a willingness to work in an agile, self-organised environment. The profile is rounded off by fluent German and good English skills.
- Operations engineering of process control technology to ensure continuous production maintenance
- Planning and implementation of plant modifications according to customer requirements, including the creation and adjustment of hardware and software specifications, test plans, and application software, including support during installations and commissioning
- Collaboration as a sub-project leader/project engineer for automation in all project phases (initiation, design, and realisation) – both independently and with support from internal and external specialists
- Cooperation with interfaces in projects and changes
- Support of our internal customers with technical questions and during regulatory inspections
- Continuous optimisation of process plants as well as evaluation, testing, and recommendation of new technologies
Your Candidate Profile:
- Completed degree (FH/TU) in electrical engineering/automation
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the automation of process engineering plants in a GMP environment
- Good knowledge of hardware planning with CAE systems (COMOS, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Experience as project leader/sub-project leader in CAPEX projects
- Teamwork skills and good communication and coordination abilities within the organisation as well as appropriate interaction with stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to work in an agile, self-organised working environment
- Fluent German and good English skills (at least B2) in spoken and written form
- Good knowledge of programming automation and control systems from Siemens (PCS7, S7, TIA WinCC)
