Junior Buyer (m/f/d) – 100%, immediate start or by arrangement
In this varied role, you will gain a comprehensive insight into the purchasing department of a modern electronics company. From day one, you will take responsibility for operational daily business and gradually develop into the strategic topics of purchasing. With your careful working style, your communicative nature, and your interest in technical products, you will make an important contribution to the success of our team – and simultaneously grow professionally beyond yourself.
Your tasks
- Operational – your daily tasks
- Recording and managing orders in SAP
- Monitoring order confirmations and delivery dates as well as issuing reminders in case of deviations
- Handling quality and complaint issues with suppliers
- Maintaining master and order data
- Strategic – with increasing responsibility
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with our suppliers
- Obtaining, comparing, and evaluating offers
- Negotiating prices and conditions
- Participating in second-source strategies as well as the procurement of electronic and mechanical components
Your qualities
- Completed commercial basic training, equivalent or further commercial education
- Initial purchasing experience desired
- Knowledge in electronics or electronic components is an advantage
- Interest in technical products and enjoyment in contact with suppliers
- Communicative, reliable personality with a systematic and precise working style
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP/SAP systems is an advantage
- Good German and English skills
