We are looking for a :
Midwife (M/F) at 100%
Start date as soon as possible or to be agreed (ideally for December or January).

YOU HAVE
- A Swiss midwifery Bachelor or a double Bachelor in nursing and Swiss midwifery or equivalent recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- Very good communication and listening skills as well as a sense of multidisciplinary teamwork
- An empathetic and open nature offering care to families based on kindness and respect
- Successful experience in a similar role or the desire to develop within an institution promoting skills advancement
YOUR OBJECTIVES
- Ensure follow-up of women during scheduled or emergency gynaecological consultations
- Monitor maternal and foetal well-being during pregnancy, labour, delivery and postpartum
- Conduct labour and delivery monitoring independently in physiological situations and collaborate with the medical team in pathological situations
- Ensure care of the newborn at birth
- Organise follow-up and support for the mother and child’s return home including the partner
- Provide breastfeeding advice respecting the UNICEF "Baby-Friendly Hospital" label
- Participate in the supervision of HES midwifery, nursing and paramedic students in the Mother-Child service
