Job Description

As part of strengthening the teams of one of our public sector clients in Lausanne, we are looking for a confirmed IT Technical Project Manager.

You will be responsible for managing one or more technical information system projects in their strategic, organisational, technical, financial, and human dimensions. You will ensure the coherence of solutions with the IS architecture, technical and security standards, as well as the organisation’s strategic directions.

You will be specifically responsible for:

• managing infrastructure, platform, data, cloud, cybersecurity, or technical environment evolution projects
• coordinating internal technical teams as well as external service providers
• defining resources, responsibilities, interfaces, budgets, and control points
• identifying and managing technical risks, dependencies, and impacts on the IS
• ensuring compliance with quality, performance, security, availability, cost, and deadline requirements
• handling financial management and project monitoring
• producing and maintaining HERMES documentation and technical documentation
• ensuring compliance with PMO, architecture, and security standards

You will also manage deployments, migrations, and cutovers, organise technical validations, and ensure the transition to operational teams, including knowledge transfer and the establishment of level 3 support.

Profile sought

You have proven experience in managing complex IT technical projects and a good understanding of infrastructure, cloud, data, cybersecurity, network, systems, and operations environments.

You are able to combine strategic vision, technical understanding, and management skills, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external partners.

You also know how to:

• manage the scope–cost–time–quality triad;
• handle risks and scope changes;
• prepare technical and organisational arbitrations;
• communicate effectively with technical, business, and governance stakeholders.

Fluency in French at C2 level is required. An understanding of technical English at B2 level is expected.

Conditions

• Location: Lausanne
• Work rate: 80 to 100%
• Remote work possible up to 2 days per week, exclusively from Switzerland
• Clean criminal record required.
