About the job
At ZAUGG, over 150 people work together to make a difference – in timber and steel construction, in planning, production, on site, and with our cranes and transport vehicles.
What sets us apart as an employer? Versatile and exceptional projects, modern technology, and a wealth of know-how under one roof. With us, you can work independently, take responsibility, and apply your skills. You see the results of your work and can be proud of them.
ZAUGG has been based in Oberaargau since 1936 and is now run as a family business in its third generation. We are down-to-earth, work together, and find solutions when things get challenging.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed CNC Operator in Timber Construction.
Your Tasks
Implement production orders
You set up our CNC systems for the respective orders and ensure that components are manufactured precisely and efficiently.
Check and optimise production data
You import CAD/CAM data from Cadwork, check it, and optimise it for processing.
Ensure quality
You check dimensional accuracy, surfaces, and completeness, ensuring that the manufactured parts meet our requirements.
Ensure smooth production processes
You equip, calibrate, and maintain the systems, independently resolve minor faults, and ensure a smooth production flow.
Why ZAUGG
Craftsmanship meets high-tech
You combine your knowledge of timber construction or carpentry with modern CNC technology and digitally controlled production.
More than just operating a machine
You check CAD/CAM data, set up the systems, and ensure that processing, quality, and material flow are correct.
Think ahead and improve
Your experience is valued: you optimise processing strategies and workflows and provide feedback to production planning when something can be improved.
Precision you can see later
On our modern framing and cutting machines, precise components are produced for versatile timber construction projects, e.g. Hundegger K2i, Homag HPP, Reichenbacher
Your Qualifications
- Completed training as a carpenter, joiner, or comparable qualification
- You work independently, precisely, and with quality awareness
- You have good technical understanding and enjoy optimising processes
- Interest in CNC technology
- Experience with CNC systems or CAD/CAM is an advantage
No experience with the K2i or HPP yet? No problem, apply anyway. If you know the craft and are interested in technology, we will gladly train you.
We look forward to getting to know you! Apply now and become part of our team at ZAUGG AG Rohrbach. Further information can be found on our website.
