On behalf of 28 municipalities with a catchment area of over 100,000 people, we work with great commitment, low-threshold access, and networking in the following areas: Child and Adult Protection Authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counselling, mother and father counselling, addiction counselling, and school social work.
Auditor KESB
In the auditing department of KESB Hochdorf, we are looking early for a new team member due to a retirement.
Your tasks
- Receipt and comprehensive examination and analysis of accountability reports (accounting) in the area of child and adult protection for all professional and private guardians
- Independent investigations and requests for supplementary documents from guardians and partners (social insurance, tax offices, banks, etc.)
- Verification of declared assets
- Compliance with and implementation of laws, regulations, and the ordinance on asset management
- Independent case processing and professional assessment of asset transactions requiring approval
- Conducting personal advisory discussions with private guardians
- Advising and supporting guardians in accounting and preparing inventories of assets
- Preparing audit reports
- Preparing decisions for the authority regarding the acceptance of accountability reports and inventories
Your profile
- Commercial training EFZ or equivalent training with professional experience
- Knowledge in social insurance, accounting, or fiduciary/banking
- Knowledge of child and adult protection law is an advantage
- Numerical flair and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills (confident German, eloquence in spoken and written language) and confident appearance
- Independent, precise, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Empathy towards people in difficult life situations
- Mental resilience to withstand pressure situations
