WRS Widmer Rail Services AG is a family-run railway company (EVU) operating in the three language regions (German, French, Italian) of Switzerland as well as in Germany, Italy and Austria. For this purpose, WRS uses its own extensive locomotive fleet, its own shunting capacities and its own personnel (locomotive drivers and shunters) and, if necessary, also trains them independently. WRS also operates from several locations in all parts of the country to provide its customers with perfect service.

Due to ongoing growth, we are looking for several responsible and flexible individuals for our motivated teams at the Basel and Oensingen / Solothurn depots with immediate effect or by arrangement.

Your challenges:

• Driving duties as a locomotive driver in freight traffic
• Pre- and post-processing of trains
• Shunting duties

What you should bring:

• Training as a shunting locomotive driver Cat. A40 or locomotive driver Cat. B100 / B
• Car driving licence mandatory
• Very good German skills as well as confident handling of IT programmes (MS Office)
• Willingness for flexible work assignments (shift work / night and weekend shifts)
• Flexible, resilient and solution-oriented personality
