About the Position
As a Final Inspection Employee at Hitachi Energy, you are a crucial link between production and delivery. You ensure that our products meet the highest quality, safety, and documentation requirements before release. With your quality awareness and structured approach, you significantly contribute to the reliability of our products and the satisfaction of our customers.
What You Can Achieve
Testing of generator circuit breakers in the test field (80%):
Testing the generator circuit breakers according to the specified test plan
Evaluation of measurement results
Conducting customer acceptance tests in English
Detecting mechanical and electrical faults
Analysis and correction of wiring errors in the control cabinet
Taking responsibility for testing the assigned breakers (timing and quality of the test)
Contributing to the improvement of measuring equipment and test processes
Assembly and wiring work (20%):
Independent wiring of assemblies and switch systems according to work documents such as customer order, electrical schematic, checklist, and work plan
Assembly of PGHV products according to the specifications and objectives recorded in quality assurance procedures and work instructions
Reading and understanding technical drawings and parts lists
What You Bring
Completed basic electrical training (automation technician EFZ or similar)
Experience in reading and understanding electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
Knowledge of testing electrical machines and control cabinets is an advantage
Very good German and English skills (spoken and written)
Affinity for computers (measuring equipment, various software tools, creating and maintaining documentation)
Good understanding of occupational safety, high quality awareness, customer-oriented thinking, and professional interaction with customers
