The Public Prosecutor's Office, with around 250 employees, consists of four regional investigation offices, a Cantonal Investigation Office responsible for the entire canton, the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, and the staff of the Chief Public Prosecutor, who, in addition to overall organisation, also leads the Cantonal Investigation Office. The Cantonal Investigation Office conducts criminal proceedings in complex substantive and procedural legal environments. This primarily concerns economic, structural, and serious crime. As a staff unit, you report hierarchically to the Chief Public Prosecutor and Head of the Cantonal Investigation Office.
