Our client, erzo ARA in Oftringen, is a supra-regional association of several municipalities from the cantons of Aargau and Lucerne. Around 10 employees are committed with modern facilities in future-oriented areas. As a municipal sewage treatment plant and industrial wastewater treatment plant and in sewage sludge utilisation, erzo ARA has earned an excellent reputation and is known as a sustainable and secure employer.

On behalf of the management, we are looking for an independent, conscientious and team-oriented personality (m/f) to strengthen the ARA team from 1.1.2027.

Your tasks

• Process control and maintenance: You operate the plant using the process control system and carry out maintenance, repair and cleaning work on plants and equipment.
• Outdoor work: You ensure well-maintained outdoor facilities and take care of snow clearance in winter.
• Troubleshooting: You professionally manage malfunctions and carry out the necessary measurements.
• Plant operation: You take on ARA-specific tasks, including in the area of special structures.
• On-call duty: Together with the team, you ensure the reliable operation of the plants outside regular working hours.
• Public relations: You conduct plant tours and information events for schools and other interested organisations.

Your profile

• Basic training: You have completed mechanical vocational training.
• Professional qualification: Further training as a federally certified sewage treatment plant specialist is an advantage.
• Process engineering: Ideally, you have further training in process engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience: You have experience in a wastewater treatment plant or a comparable large plant with process engineering processes or have already worked as an industrial mechanic.
• Personality: You are assertive, flexible and solution-oriented and enjoy working in a team.
• Working method: Independence, a sense of responsibility and a high service orientation characterise you.
