Head of Business Development | Asset Management

We offer all services of institutional asset management for financial service providers, companies, foundations, and pension institutions. For Business Development in Asset Management, we are looking for a highly motivated and versatile leader with a strong interest in asset management. As Head of Business Development, you will support the Head of Asset Management in strategic matters and projects and act as the central point of contact for the various areas inside and outside of Asset Management. • Strategic sparring partner to the Head of Asset Management
• Responsibility for Business Development including leading a small team
• Management of strategy and target-setting processes including KPIs, budget planning, and close collaboration with financial controlling
• Leading central strategic initiatives and cross-departmental projects (e.g. growth, efficiency, new business models, impact of AI)
• Design and quality assurance of management and committee documents as well as presentations at executive board and bank council level
• Preparation of market, competition, and profitability analyses as well as business cases for new topics
• Chief-of-Staff role: prioritisation, agenda-setting, and ensuring efficient decision-making processes within the management team, as well as business risk management topics

• University degree (business administration, economics, finance or similar)
• Several years of experience in asset management, strategy consulting, or a comparable role in the financial sector
• Excellent understanding of the asset management value chain and regulatory framework
• Experience in managing complex projects/programmes
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, high numerical affinity, and routine in executive board/board of directors suitable documents
• High degree of initiative as well as pronounced sense of responsibility and quality awareness
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• High social competence and confident demeanour towards senior stakeholders

• Key role with direct influence on the strategic development of Zürcher Kantonalbank’s Asset Management
• Close collaboration with the Head of Asset Management and high visibility in senior management
