Help shape the future of energy with us! Alpiq Hydro Aare AG ensures sustainable electricity production with its three run-of-river power plants. For our facilities in Niedergösgen, we are looking for a committed individual who enjoys technology and wants to take on responsibility.

Your Tasks

• Support in leading and organising the operations team to ensure safe, economical, and legally compliant operation.
• Independent inspection, maintenance, and repairs of the facilities; executing switching orders; analysing and resolving faults.
• Safe and considered action during operational disturbances as well as carrying out minor repairs.
• Conducting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic inspections and maintenance work, outdoor work on the screens, boat transfers, minor environmental tasks.
• Leading small teams, supervising fitters and technicians, ensuring occupational safety.
• Maintaining inspection and maintenance plans, documentation, handling small projects and optimisations.

Your Profile

• Basic training in the electrical or mechanical field with technical further education (e.g. Technician HF).
• Professional experience in the power plant sector or comparable industry with practical maintenance experience is an advantage.
• Willingness for on-call duty every 5-6 weeks (Niedergösgen and Winznau should be reachable within 30 minutes from your home).
• Expertise in mechanics, hydraulics, electrical engineering, automation; organisation and documentation of processes.
• Self-reliant, resilient, team-oriented, and flexible.
• Fluent in German, English and French are an advantage.
• Driving licence category B.
