What you can achieve
- Responsibility for the planning, coordination and implementation of development and procurement projects in the field of electronic reconnaissance and defence systems
- Ensuring the achievement of milestones, budget and quality targets in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
- Analysis and definition of technical as well as operational requirements in coordination with customers, military users and internal specialist departments
- Selection, management and negotiation with national and international suppliers
- Consideration of national and international security and approval regulations
- Identification of potential risks, derivation of countermeasures and continuous optimisation
- Preparation of technical assessments and decision templates for management as well as support for tenders and bidding processes
- Monitoring current developments in the field of electronic reconnaissance and defence systems to derive innovative solutions for future projects
What you bring with you
- Technical training in the field of electrical/electronic engineering or a comparable technical discipline, supplemented by commercial or business management training
- Experience in project management, ideally in a military or industrial environment
- Sound knowledge of project management (e.g. according to PMI, IPMA or HERMES)
- Confident handling of SAP S/4HANA as well as experience with ERP-supported processes
- Fluent German, English and French skills, both spoken and written
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership qualities
- Assertiveness and strong communication skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
