About the job
The St.Gallen municipal utilities are the reliable partner for the population and economy of the city of St.Gallen as well as partly the region in the supply of energy, water and fibre optics. For our Electricity and Telecom Network department, Metering and Installations division, we are looking for a
Electrician (m/f/d) 100%
We actively shape the energy transition and are looking for a motivated individual who wants to help shape this change.
Your responsibilities:
- Installation of hardware components for remote meter reading and the Smart Meter rollout
- Assembly and disassembly of meters and ripple control receivers
- Troubleshooting as well as carrying out adjustment and supplementary work on electrical house installations and metering equipment
- Creation of building connections as well as temporary installations and connections
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as an electrician EFZ or an equivalent qualification
- Practical professional experience in electrical installation
- Interest in ICT topics and willingness to further educate yourself in this area
- Independent, precise and responsible working style
- Team spirit, flexibility and resilience
- Driving licence category B required
