In this 6-month internship or master thesis starting in February 2027, you will develop an AI-powered internal platform that enables ELCA Business Lines to monitor market, technology and industry trends across selected sectors. The platform will consolidate information from external sources (industry reports, publications, market news, technology trends) and correlate it with internal knowledge assets such as project references, client information, competencies and business opportunities.
The goal is to provide actionable insights that help business leaders anticipate market evolution, identify emerging opportunities, strengthen go-to-market strategies and align investments in skills and offerings with future customer needs.
Your tasks
- Design an AI-powered market intelligence platform that collects and analyses signals from external sources
- Identify and visualise emerging trends, opportunities and potential market disruptions
- Correlate external signals with ELCA's internal knowledge: projects, references, competencies and customer information
- Apply Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques, and surface results through dashboards and recommendations
- Deliver a proof of concept and evaluate its business value for one or more ELCA Business Lines; as a stretch goal, propose gamification mechanisms to increase engagement

About your profile
- Software development experience (Python, Java, .NET or similar)
- Understanding of AI, Machine Learning and Large Language Models
- Familiarity with data analysis, data visualization and information retrieval; knowledge of APIs, web scraping and data integration is a plus
- Interest in market analysis, technology watch and business intelligence, with the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Nice to have: Generative AI, RAG architectures, vector databases, knowledge management platforms, gamification
