Production Operator: Cable Rewinding (m/f/d)

About the job

Large cable drums, precise rewinding work and material that then goes into projects worldwide. For us, rewinding is not a side job – it is a crucial step to ensure our cables arrive at the customer exactly as they should.

We are Solifos – a Swiss fibre optic cable manufacturer with over 25 years of experience in fibre optic sensing and tactical communication systems. For our production site in Windisch, we are looking for you: someone who works reliably, neatly and enjoys hands-on work.

Your role:

• Your main task: You rewind cable reels according to specifications and operate the rewinding machine
• Depending on need, you also support logistical tasks – for example, loading and unloading lorries or internal transports
• You handle materials and vehicles carefully and responsibly

What you bring:

• Reliable, careful working style – even with routine tasks
• Availability immediately
• Willingness to work shifts
• Hands-on mentality and physical resilience
• Team spirit and good German language skills
• Experience in production or logistics is an advantage but not a requirement – we will train you
• Forklift licence is an advantage

What we offer you:

• Meaningful work: What you produce goes into demanding projects worldwide – from tunnels to defence missions
• Short communication lines: directly with production, logistics and management – no email ping-pong across three hierarchy levels
• Team culture: open doors, collegial atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone here
• Attractive employment conditions and exciting benefits

Does this suit you? Then we look forward to receiving your application documents!
