We're looking for a talented Reward & Benefits Manager to enhance our People team and play a central role in shaping and maintaining our job architecture and total rewards strategy. You'll be the reward expert, providing high-level guidance on compensation, benefits, and governance topics to our People Business Partners and Business Units. This role is pivotal in ensuring our reward systems are competitive, equitable, and fully aligned with both internal goals and external regulations. You'll also support our Board of Directors and Compensation Committee by preparing strategic materials that influence key decisions at the highest level. Tasks:
Reward Strategy & Compensation Expertise
- Act as a trusted advisor on reward-related matters, including grading, job titles, base and variable pay, and bespoke reward solutions. Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations that reflect market trends, internal equity, and business objectives
- Provide compensation expertise and support in the design and annual roll-out of the bonus plan, collaborating with Finance on target setting and budgeting, and preparing employee communication materials
Job Architecture & Grading
- Develop, lead, and maintain the company's job architecture and grading framework in alignment with the WTW methodology. Conduct regular market benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards
- Collaborate with People Business Partners to ensure consistency in application and communication of job levels across teams and functions. Support the integration of reward and skill management frameworks for strategic workforce planning and future skill development
Benefits Program Management
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive employee benefits programs. Continuously assess and enhance benefit offerings to ensure competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with employee needs and market trends
Governance, Compliance & Executive Compensation
- Prepare high-quality materials for the Compensation Committee and Board of Directors, ensuring alignment with governance standards and strategic objectives. Contribute to the development of the annual compensation report, ensuring transparency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
- Support the administration of Board of Directors and Executive Committee compensation, including fee budgeting and calculations
Project Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and contribute to People projects, turning insights into action across the People roadmap
- Collaborate cross-functionally with People, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure holistic, compliant, and business-aligned implementation of reward practices
Requirements:
- Solid experience in Reward & Benefits, with a strong grasp of both strategic and operational aspects
- Strong knowledge of job architecture frameworks (e.g., Willis Towers Watson methodology), grading, and compensation benchmarking
- Familiarity with governance and compliance topics related to compensation, including preparation of materials for senior leadership and C-level stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and Excel skills, with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills-able to translate complex reward concepts into clear, actionable information for different audiences
- Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships across People, Finance, and Legal teams
- Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms is a plus
- Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
