Your Tasks and Perspectives

Participation in the further development, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the extensive Cisco network infrastructure with more than 30,000 devices at several hospital locations in the canton of St. Gallen
Active involvement in technical projects, including the development and implementation of innovative solutions such as the further development of the Software Defined Network infrastructure and modern network analysis tools
Driving automation, optimization, and implementation of network monitoring solutions to ensure proactive fault detection and resolution and guarantee network security
Support in incident, problem, and change management at the 2nd level, including maintenance work and on-call service
Collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure that the network meets the requirements of customers and digital transformation

What You Bring to This Position

Completed IT education, preferably with advanced technical training
Solid knowledge in the network area with a focus on Cisco components, as well as the willingness to familiarize yourself with the latest technologies such as Catalyst Center in Access and ACI in the data center
Several years of professional experience as a network specialist in routing and switching, ideally with CISCO certifications at the CCNP level
High motivation to continuously deepen your knowledge in complex network systems and future trends in network technology
Independent, precise, and customer-oriented working style with confident oral and written communication skills in German
