What Awaits You
As an experienced cloud architect, you will play a key role in shaping our cloud strategy. You develop secure, scalable, and maintainable platform architectures on Azure, ensure clear governance, and contribute your know-how to the continuous development of the cloud landscape.
Specific areas of responsibility include, among others:
- You further develop our sustainable cloud platform strategy with a focus on standardization, scalability, and future viability
- You work closely with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams and establish technical best practices
- You continuously develop our Azure architecture with a focus on scalability, security, and operational efficiency
- You advise internal customers on integrating their workloads into the cloud platform as well as on architecture and design decisions
- You have the freedom to evaluate new technologies and introduce innovative solutions
- You work on a central IT future topic with real business impact and long-term perspective
- You coach colleagues and contribute to the further development of our cloud/engineering team

Your professional qualifications:
- Proven experience with Azure, especially in cloud architecture, governance, and security & identity management
- In-depth knowledge of network concepts in Azure
- Very good understanding of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
- Experience with design and implementation of landing zones including infrastructure as code (Terraform) and automation
- Experience with cloud security concepts and benchmarks such as MCSB or CIS
- Very good German and English
- Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes
