About the job
Your new role
In this exciting and varied position, you will play an important role in the training and further education of our employees in the areas of regulatory service, tactical-technical training, shooting training, as well as the special unit for specific tactical operations. Your duties include designing practical training sessions and exercise scenarios and conducting them according to methodical-didactic principles. In addition to instructional activities, you will participate in daily operational police service and undertake general police tasks. As a competent contact person, you will advise employees on tactical and weapon-specific matters. Furthermore, you will perform regulatory service deployments, where you will lead a group or a platoon and assume a leadership role in the intervention section (IS) during special operations. You will also have the opportunity to be trained and deployed in various specialist functions.
This role is for you if you
- hold the federal professional certificate as a police officer and have successfully completed training as an interventionist (IE) / grenadier.
- ideally already have experience in a comparable role or are willing to further your education in this specialist and leadership area.
- can demonstrate very good shooting performance and possess strong competencies in handling operational equipment.
- have a confident demeanour and good assertiveness.
- count pedagogical and methodical skills as well as teamwork among your strengths.
- are willing to work shift duties and additional duties if required.
- hold Swiss citizenship.
- have an impeccable reputation and for whom confidentiality and reliability are a matter of course.
