Introduction
The city of Adliswil is a dynamic city with a high quality of life that has grown rapidly in recent years. With customer-friendly services, the administration is there for the approximately 20,000 residents.The Department of Youth and Community includes the specialist areas of youth, community work, and the Werd leisure facility. The youth department operates accompanying, project-oriented, and outreach youth work in Adliswil and, since summer 2023, also in Langnau am Albis. The focus is on young people who are supported in their creativity and personality development as well as in challenging situations.
For the Youth Work team Adliswil - Langnau am Albis, we are looking for a committed individual on a fixed-term basis from February 1, 2026, to June 30, 2026, as
Youth Worker 20%
These are your tasks
- Joint management of the youth meeting points in Adliswil and Langnau am Albis (each Friday evening) within the team.
- Building and maintaining sustainable relationships with young people.
- Supporting young people in developing and implementing their own ideas as well as in leisure activities.
- Advising on individual issues and promoting social integration.
- Participation in existing youth work projects and taking responsibility for suitable meeting projects.
- Ongoing information to supervisors about current developments and recording relevant indicators.
What we expect from you
- University degree in Social Work or Sociocultural Animation
- Ideally professional experience in youth work
- Participatory work approach and pronounced social skills
- Sound knowledge of mediation and conflict resolution methods
- Creativity, enjoyment in relationship work with young people, and strong communication skills
- Networked thinking and target group-appropriate communication
