As a (Senior) Managing Consultant – BFSI Regulatory & Compliance, you will further develop the prioritised growth area together with our Regulatory & Compliance Lead.

You combine regulatory expertise with entrepreneurial thinking and extensive transformation experience. In doing so, you turn complex requirements into clear courses of action, courses of action into viable programmes, and successful projects into long-term customer relationships.

Your mission

• Strategic Regulatory Advisory & C-Level Consulting

You advise boards, department heads and programme managers at banks and insurance companies on regulatory and strategic issues. In doing so, you translate new requirements into robust transformation roadmaps, target operating models, governance structures and investment decisions.

• Transformation & Programme Leadership

You take on the leadership of complex regulatory and compliance transformations – from the initial status assessment through conception and mobilisation to sustainable implementation. You are responsible for scope, governance, profitability, quality and customer benefit and manage interdisciplinary and international teams.

• Offering & Portfolio Development

Together with our Regulatory & Compliance Lead, you develop relevant market trends and regulatory developments – for example DORA, EU AI Act, CRR III/Basel IV, MiCAR, AML/KYC, MaRisk/BAIT or Solvency II – into scalable services, assets and offerings. You bring new consulting approaches from idea to successful positioning with the customer.

• Business Development & Account Growth

You identify new opportunities, develop long-term customer relationships and position NTT DATA as a strategic partner for Regulatory & Compliance. You lead solutioning, proposal and negotiation processes, develop convincing value propositions and bear commercial responsibility for your opportunities and projects.

• Technology-enabled Compliance

You combine regulatory requirements with technology, data and automation. Together with our technology and delivery units, you develop solutions based on modern GRC platforms, cloud compliance architectures, data governance frameworks, RegTech, RPA and GenAI-based regulatory intelligence.

• Thought Leadership & Market Positioning

You represent NTT DATA as a trusted advisor in the market, develop relevant positions and position our expertise through specialist articles, studies, events, customer formats and active participation in the BFSI community.

• People Leadership & Delivery Excellence

You lead and develop consulting teams, coach experienced and aspiring colleagues and establish binding quality and method standards. In strategic customer projects, you take on the role of executive advisor, subject-matter expert or programme lead and ensure sustainable results.

Your skillset

• BFSI and regulatory expertise

You have several years of relevant consulting or transformation experience in the environment of banks, financial service providers or insurance companies. Ideally, you bring correspondingly broad customer and leadership responsibility.

• Transformation experience

You have successfully led several demanding regulatory, risk or compliance programmes – for example in the areas of DORA and ICT risk, AML/KYC, financial crime, risk & controls, prudential regulation, compliance operating models or regulatory data and reporting requirements.

• Business development & commercial excellence

You can demonstrate that you have successfully developed or won complex consulting and transformation projects. Value proposition, solutioning, pricing, proposal design and contract negotiation are part of your experience spectrum as well as building trusting relationships with decision-makers.

• Technological foundation

You have a sound understanding of modern GRC, cloud, data and automation solutions and can translate professional requirements into viable solution and delivery models. You consistently evaluate new technologies according to regulatory robustness and measurable customer benefit.

• Leadership and methodological competence

You confidently manage cross-functional and international teams and combine clear result orientation with inspiring leadership. You apply methods such as value-based consulting, design thinking, agile delivery and structured transformation management appropriately to the situation.

• Communication, qualification & languages

You have a degree – for example in economics, business informatics, law, computer science or a comparable field – or an equivalent qualification. You convince through executive storytelling, negotiation skills as well as very good German and English skills and bring the necessary mobility for customer projects in the DACH region.
