The centre conducts inter- and transdisciplinary research projects that enable practical solution approaches to strengthen resilience. It brings together expertise from researchers of various disciplines.

The senior assistant acts as an integrative coordinator affiliated with the centre and actively collaborates with all involved departments and faculties of the University of Fribourg as well as with Mobiliar.
Your tasks
The Mobiliar Centre for Resilience at the University of Fribourg is advertising, starting 1 January 2027 for a duration of 2 years with the option of extension, a position as Senior Assistant for Integration and Implementation Research.
The senior assistant supports the management administratively and acts as a research coordinator bridging to practice. He or she:
- Coordinates the centre's interdisciplinary research and serves as the "point of contact" for the interface with Mobiliar
- Develops integration and implementation approaches for resilience research and its sustainable application
- Designs innovative "citizen science" and "outreach" activities for inter- and transdisciplinary teaching and research
Desired profile
- Doctorate in Business / Computer Science or related discipline
- Knowledge of Resilience and Information Systems Engineering
- Experience with integration and implementation research
- Experience in collaboration with companies
- Language requirements: English, German and French
