To strengthen our Trust Medical Service, we are looking for a Trust Doctor with Prospect of Taking Over the Management of the Trust Medical Service (m/f/d), 80-100% immediately or by arrangement.

Your Role

In our Trust Medical team, you fulfil a demanding advisory role with a broad and interesting field of work. You apply your medical expertise specifically to insurance medical assessments. As an important link between service providers, insured persons and the insurer, you clarify the medical facts and thus ensure transparency and well-founded evaluations. The current head of the Trust Medical Service will retire in the coming years. Therefore, this position offers an interested and suitable person the opportunity to gradually take on responsibility and prepare for the future management of the Trust Medical Service.

Your Tasks

• You advise health insurers on medical specialist questions as well as on questions of remuneration and tariff application and check the prerequisites for the obligation to provide benefits.
• You check compliance with the criteria of effectiveness, appropriateness and cost-effectiveness of medical services.
• You advise internal specialist departments on insurance medical issues and support them in complex medical assessments.
• You ensure that your assessments comply with legal requirements and guarantee the protection of data privacy and personal rights of the insured persons.
• If interested and suitable, you gradually take on additional responsibilities and are prepared for the later assumption of the management of the Trust Medical Service.

Your Profile

• You have a Swiss specialist medical title or a foreign specialist medical title recognised in Switzerland.
• You have at least five years of professional experience in an independent role (e.g. own practice or management position in a hospital) with an average workload of at least 80%.
• Ideally, you already hold the qualification as a trust doctor or are willing to complete this additional training.
• You have at least five years of leadership and project management experience.
• You bring a willingness to shape, strategic thinking and the motivation to actively help develop our Trust Medical Service.
• You work independently, in a structured and responsible manner. Analytical thinking, a solution-oriented approach and negotiation skills characterise you. In addition, you convince through teamwork and high social competence.
