The AR Hospital Network
The Appenzell Ausserrhoden Hospital Network, with the Herisau Acute Hospital and the AR Psychiatric Centre in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the acute somatic care area under the leadership of Ms Dagmar Steinle, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement a Health Specialist for the obstetric and gynaecological interdisciplinary ward with a workload of 50-70%

Therefore, we want you
- You have completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ
- Alternatively, you have completed training as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ
- Initial professional experience in a hospital environment and in the care of interdisciplinary patients is an advantage
- Interest in the care of postpartum women and infants
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
- A positive and team-oriented attitude
- You are a communicative and open personality who puts patients at the centre
