Timber Construction Engineer ETH/FH or Timber Construction Technician HF
To strengthen our team, we are looking for both a Timber Construction Engineer ETH/FH and a Timber Construction Technician HF. Applications for both positions are warmly welcome.
You will work on exciting timber construction, engineered timber construction, and hybrid construction projects across all project phases. Examples include the Uster Cultural Centre, the Wilacker school complex in Adliswil, the Gelatine site and the WIN4 Sports Campus swimming pool in Winterthur, the Gleis 11 site development in Solothurn, as well as the Hof Maran Golf and Sports Hotel in Arosa. In this varied position, you will be primarily responsible for the following tasks in demanding timber construction projects at all project stages:
Your tasks:
- Design and development of timber structures
- Development of digital models (BIM)
- Handling timber construction projects in all service phases
- Execution, construction, and detailed planning
- Collaboration with architects, specialist planners, and contractors
- Participation in new builds, conversions, and renovations of existing structures
What you should bring:
- Training as a Timber Construction Engineer ETH/FH or Timber Construction Technician HF
- Professional experience in planning and designing timber construction projects
- Sound knowledge of timber construction
- Practical experience in timber construction, preferably as a carpenter
- Interest in innovative structural solutions and their implementation
- Good user knowledge of common BIM, CAD, and MS Office programmes
- Confident manner and good communication skills
- Independent and structured way of working
- High sense of responsibility and great flexibility
