About Us
Good Shepherd is an English-speaking Catholic Community located in the heart of Zug, Switzerland. We offer a spiritual home to both native and non-native English speakers and celebrate Mass in Gut Hirt Church. As part of the Zug-Walchwil Pastoral Area - comprising five parishes - we’re committed to building community and faith through modern resources.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Create and Communicate: Develop engaging and spiritual content for our website, and parish newsletter (Pfarreiblatt).
- Shape Our Digital Presence: Manage and update the website, ensuring a fresh, inviting, and user-friendly online presence.
- Connect and Coordinate: Work across teams to ensure consistent and effective communication - internally and externally.
- Plan and Organize: Support event coordination and communication campaigns with precision and creativity.
- Use Modern Tools: Apply digital platforms and communication technologies to bring our communities' voice to life.
- Light bookkeeping.
What You Bring
- Vocational training or degree in media, business administration, event management, journalism, or a related field.
- Experience in communications, social media, or digital content creation.
- An understanding of simple bookkeping and budget planning.
- A structured, reliable working style and a creative mindset.
- A professional, confident presence and enthusiasm for collaborative work.
- A strong connection to the Catholic faith and a basic understanding of Church and state structures - or a willingness to learn.

Our parish employs around 70 permanent staff and 200 hourly workers, united by a shared commitment to serving the community.
