Deputy Medical Director (m/f/d)

Why this position?

As a staff and deputy function of the Medical Directorate, you actively shape the medical-strategic direction of Solothurner Spitäler AG: You lead cross-site projects, create reliable decision-making bases with sound data analyses, and work closely with chief physicians and management committees.

Your impact with us

• Leading and participating in strategic, medical and soH-wide projects including time and budget control
• Analysing and preparing medical, clinical, qualitative and operational data across locations as a basis for strategic leadership and management decisions
• Developing well-founded research, decision-making bases, reports and presentations for the Medical Directorate and the strategy of soH
• Contributing to the development of new care models, quality initiatives as well as cross-organisational leadership, governance and decision-making processes
• Representing the Medical Director in medical-strategic matters and committees as well as interdisciplinary collaboration with medicine, nursing, administration and other partners and presenting results to the executive management and management committees

Your profile

• Medical degree or health economics at master’s level
• At least 3 years of clinical professional experience and sound knowledge of the structures of an acute hospital
• Proven experience in leading strategic, cross-site projects
• Strong analytical skills in handling clinical data and statistics
• Convincing presentation skills, diplomatic tact and ability to work in a team
