Your new area of responsibility
VAT is committed to carrying out maintenance and documenting it.
- Ensuring and improving the technical availability of equipment
- Maintaining maintenance documentation
- Eliminating safety deficiencies in production equipment
- Contact person for modifications and retrofits on production equipment
- Participating in the procurement process of new equipment
- Supervising external service providers
- Resolving operational disruptions, downtimes, and safety deficiencies of production equipment
- Conducting inspections and maintenance, as well as control and maintenance rounds
- Assisting and planning modifications and improvements of production equipment
- Planning and implementing modifications, improvements, and retrofits on production equipment
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation
- Providing and organising spare parts
- Active participation in projects
- Role model in occupational safety and health protection
- Supporting the team leader in daily operational business
- Assisting with the administrative onboarding of new employees
Your experience, skills and talents
- Experience in maintenance, ideally with CNC machines, cleaning systems, and hydraulic presses
- Experience handling operational disruptions on production equipment
- Experience with technical documentation
- Completed training as a polymechanic with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) or in a related mechanical profession
- Forklift and pallet truck licence
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and vacuum systems
- Analytical thinking and structured approach to fault analysis and troubleshooting
- Independent and reliable working style as well as teamwork skills
- Good MS Office knowledge
- Respectful, appreciative, and open communication
