The AI Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing a transformation and is establishing a modern corporate and management culture. We want to focus our actions more on the needs of our clients while promoting digitalisation.
The Regional Medical Service (RMS) of Bern, Fribourg, Solothurn examines, for the cantonal AI offices, the medical-insurance conditions required to benefit from disability insurance benefits.
What you can bring to us
- Based on the file or your own examinations, you assess the work capacity and rehabilitation aptitude of our insured persons from a medical perspective.
- Thanks to your professional skills, you ensure that entitlement to benefits is established quickly, efficiently and professionally.
- To do this, you write opinions related to insurance medicine, collaborate with attending physicians and provide advice and support to our Case Managers and social insurance specialists on medical questions.
- If interested, it is possible to take on other special tasks, such as participating in projects or training activities.
The professional skills that matter to us
- You are a specialist doctor with several years of professional experience and are interested in issues relating to social insurance law and insurance medicine.
- You appreciate complex facts, make targeted decisions and like to take on responsibilities. In addition, you stand out for your strong sense of service.
- You enjoy working with people from different specialised fields. Due to your constructive and helpful nature, you contribute to a good atmosphere within the team.
- We are a bilingual company (French-German), which is why active knowledge of the other language is desired.
