About the job

• you produce and layout editorial pages daily for our daily newspapers (e.g. Aargauer Zeitung, Solothurner Zeitung and others)
• you independently develop pages, contribute ideas and coordinate directly with the editorial teams
• you edit texts and optimise headlines
• depending on deployment, you take on various production duties
• you ensure that our editions are published on time and that the overall product is coherent in the end
• you keep an overview even under time pressure and make pragmatic decisions

• you have experience in a newspaper editorial office or in media production
• you understand editorial processes
• you enjoy working independently and are flexible in deployment
• you are confident working with digital editorial systems
• you have a good sense of language and a flair for journalistic content
• you are willing to work evenings and occasionally take Sunday shifts
