FaGe / MPA EFZ Focus on Gastroenterological Functional Diagnostics

The Abdominal Centre at Inselspital is a multidisciplinary facility for patients with stomach, intestinal, and liver diseases. The specialist departments of visceral surgery, gastroenterology, and hepatology, as well as stoma and wound care, jointly provide their outpatient services.

What to expect

• Carrying out nursing and diagnostic measures in gastroenterological functional diagnostics (breath tests, PTNS therapy)
• Assistance as well as preparation and follow-up of examinations in functional diagnostics including administrative and organisational tasks
• Ensuring and organising consultations in collaboration with the medical service
• Care, monitoring, and guidance of patients, especially for safe medication administration and tests at home

• You have completed training as a FaGe or MPA EFZ
