About the job

Your area of responsibility

• Strategic planning and management of all logistics processes (goods receipt, storage, order picking, shipping)
• Optimisation of the supply chain in terms of costs, quality and delivery times
• Leadership and development of the logistics team including personnel deployment planning
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and compliance requirements
• Budget responsibility and cost control for the logistics and freight forwarding area
• Introduction and maintenance of key performance indicator systems (KPIs) for performance monitoring
• Coordination with production, purchasing and sales to ensure smooth processes

Your profile

• Completed further training in logistics, supply chain management or logistics specialist with a federal diploma
• Several years of professional experience in a managerial role in logistics
• Sound knowledge of warehouse management, transport logistics and customs clearance
• Leadership skills and experience in staff development
• Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office
• Good German and French language skills, both written and spoken
• Suva recognised forklift licence
• First aid and/or ASGS training as well as training in personal protective equipment against falls
