- Genuine mandate to shape: Establishment/introduction of geriatrics with clear backing from hospital management and executive board with short decision-making paths
- Responsibility-appropriate senior physician contract with negotiable fixed salary and transparent variable components (e.g. target/quality component)

Your tasks
- Establishment/introduction of modern geriatric care including clear structures, responsibilities and interfaces
- Medical, organisational and personnel overall responsibility for the geriatric department within a matrix organisation
- Strategic positioning of geriatrics within the hospital and the region (profile, cooperations, referrer communication)
- Implementation of in-house standards/guidelines as well as quality assurance and further development of treatment processes
- Further training & talent development: Supervision, structured induction and training of your team
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with other specialties, nursing, therapies and hospital management
- Representation of the department internally and externally
- Participation in on-call and standby duties (within a collegially agreed framework)
Your profile
- Specialist recognition (e.g. internal medicine, general medicine, neurology or comparable) with additional training in geriatrics
- Leadership experience as (senior) consultant
- Enjoyment of building work: creating structures, developing people, pragmatically implementing change
- Strategic and organisational thinking as well as clear, appreciative leadership
- High patient orientation and confident handling of relatives
- Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary projects and active shaping of the hospital
