About the job
The road maintenance department of our municipality is responsible for the upkeep and operation of traffic and sewerage systems. This includes, among other things, the care and cleaning of public roads and footpaths, green strips, forest edges, nature reserves, bodies of water and lake shores, as well as the removal of littering.

Apprenticeship Specialist in Facility Maintenance EFZ - Focus on Public Works
- Structural maintenance work on traffic and sewerage systems
- Care and cleaning of public roads, footpaths, green strips, forest edges, nature reserves, bodies of water and lake shores
- Signalling of construction sites and diversions
- Removal of littering
- Technical flair and skill in handling machines, technical equipment and crafts
- Reliability, service orientation and enjoyment of teamwork
- Resilience and the necessary calm when things get hectic
- Motivation and curiosity to learn new things and take on responsibility
- Very good oral and written German skills
- Good school grades and a reliable, committed work attitude
- Modern and functional work clothing provided free of charge
- 6 weeks’ holiday until the age of 20 (5 weeks from the age of 21)
