Are you familiar with the legal regulations, standards and maintenance guidelines for civil engineering structures? These are your tasks
- You independently carry out work in the area of civil engineering structures (bridges, culverts, tunnels, retaining structures, noise barriers) as well as public facilities (platforms, platform roofs, access points) based on maintenance guidelines and document these.
- You perform standardised measurements and monitoring, take over condition assessments, initiate necessary immediate measures if required and report safety-relevant defects.
- You plan and organise the work processes for the tasks to be performed and are responsible for implementing the necessary measures.
- You are responsible for the execution project management of maintenance measures as well as single-discipline projects in structural and civil engineering.
- You contribute to the further development of maintenance strategies, standards and processes in civil engineering and assist with digitalisation topics.
These are your key competencies
- You have completed a technical education in construction, preferably in civil engineering (FH Civil Engineering, HF Construction Technology) or a comparable qualification.
- You demonstrate a high level of commitment and are willing to work night shifts occasionally.
- You have solid practical experience in the maintenance of infrastructure facilities, ideally in the railway sector, as well as from corresponding construction measures in structural or civil engineering.
- You bring an understanding of operational and safety-relevant requirements of an infrastructure operator. A certificate as a safety officer is an advantage.
- You have good IT user skills, very good German language skills in spoken and written form, and hold a category B driving licence.
