HOW YOU CAN MAKE AN IMPACT
- Development of safety-critical vehicle and track-side software in accordance with the requirements of EN 50126, 50128, 50716, and 50129
- Implementation of new features in signalling products, with focus on NOVA Pro CBTC System
- Development of vehicle software for automated, driverless operation
- Support for assessments and state-specific approvals
- Prepare and maintain Requirement Specification and Architecture and Design as input for validation and assessment
- Implement code according to software component design
- Integration test of different subsystems upon software release of products
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Knowledge of Railway Signalling principles and practices (Mainline Interlocking and/or CBTC), with minimum 10 years of experience Signalling
- Good knowledge and proven usage of railway standards (e.g. EN 50126, 50129, 50128 or 50716, TS 50701, ISO 27001, ISO 9001, IEC61131-3) standards
- Requirement Management with IBM Doors Next Generation (DNG) Tool
- Principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Functional programming with FBD and/or ST languages (High Level Programming like C/C++/Phyton is a plus)
- Familiar with Version Control tools like GIT, SVN etc.
- Good communication skills and ability to work harmoniously within a team
- Ability to analyze and solve analytical problems, with a commitment to meeting deadlines
