Project Management Energy (m/f/d)
in the Department of Construction and Environment with immediate effect or by arrangement- Project management of electricity production from PV and its integration into energy systems, e.g. within the framework of the St. Gallen PV Alliance
- Participation in the implementation of the St. Gallen Energy Concept 2021-2030 in the field of renewable heat supply
- Further development of cantonal energy policy in the field of renewable energies
- Procurement and publication of energy data, especially on energy demand and energy production in the canton of St. Gallen
- Initiation and support of innovative projects with energy supply companies, industry associations, and other partners
- University or university of applied sciences degree in environmental sciences, engineering, or a comparable field
- Profound expertise in energy systems, renewable energies, and ideally energy planning
- Strong technical and analytical skills as well as experience in handling data, e.g. with Excel, Python, and R
- Experience in project management and interdisciplinary collaboration with various stakeholders from politics, science, and the energy industry
- A meaningful role with a direct contribution to the successful implementation of the energy transition in the canton of St. Gallen
- Plenty of scope for initiative as well as professional and conceptual co-design in a future-relevant field
