For our team, we are temporarily seeking an automation technician to assist in the assembly and commissioning of our power semiconductor test systems.

What You Can Achieve

• Assembly of power semiconductor test systems including mechanics, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components

• Carrying out modifications on faulty designs, manufactured parts or schematics

• Checking all mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, programmed and hydraulic functions

• Performing grounding measurements (checking the continuity of the protective conductor system according to EN 60204-1 18b)

• Creating commissioning and insulation coordination protocols

• Executing the commissioning and insulation coordination of test systems

• Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements

• Active participation in optimising processes and systems

What You Bring

• Completed training as an automation technician EFZ (possibly with higher technical school), ideally with professional experience in assembly

• Experience in project management

• Solid know-how in mechanical processing of materials (turning, milling, drilling, sawing etc.)

• Familiarity with power semiconductors, measurement technology as well as relevant guidelines and standards

• Confident use of Office 365

• Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
